Engineering and science must adapt to value the quality of interpersonal relationships, which are essential to teamwork. They must respect diversity of thought, especially non-technical modes, if they wish to inspire creativity.

I also learned something regarding to the reduction of theories

Even in what philosophers might regard as the simplest reductions, between different areas within physics, the detailed working-out of how one theory can contain another has been achieved only in a few cases and involves sophisticated ideas on the forefront of physics and mathematics today. This is because in all nontrivial reductions the encompassing theory is a singular perturbation […] of the less general one. The singularities are reflected in the quantities of the encompassing theory being nonanalytic […] and the nonanalyticities describe emergent phenomena in the borderland between the theories.

[A] subtle and sophisticated understanding of the relation between theories within physics requires real mathematics, and not only verbal, conceptual and logical analysis.
